Beth Hintz, MS
Development Manager
As Facing the Future’s Development Manager, Beth focuses on implementing the wide array of efforts that comprise the organization’s fundraising efforts.
Beth has worked as a crisis counselor for homeless and runaway youth, as a program director of a school-age program in Chicago, and as an advocate with DePaul University’s Multicultural Student Affairs. She has experience with database management, event coordination, client service and management, nonprofit administration, and fundraising.
Beth has served on the Board of Directors of Chicago Fair Trade, where she collaborated with other individuals and organizations to expand awareness of international trade issues through educational outreach, events, and marketing. She currently volunteers with Multifaith Works, an organization that supports people living with HIV/AIDS.
Global Perspective
Beth has traveled and lived abroad. She did a 7-month internship at an orphanage and a school in the Dominican Republic, and has participated in various study tours and service learning projects in Mexico, Honduras, Ireland, Brazil, and South Africa.
Education
Beth earned a BA in Sociology from Wheaton College in Illinois, and an MS in International Public Service Management from DePaul University in Chicago.
