Make a Sound Impact! Student Video Contest

Thank you to all of you who participated in Facing the Future’s Make a Sound Impact student video contest in 2011. Thank you to The Russell Family Foundation and ERM Foundation for making this project possible and to all of our Project Partners for helping make the project a success.

We’d like to give special thanks to Puget SoundOff.org and its partners the YMCA of Greater Seattle, City of Seattle Department of Information Technology, U of W Center for Communication and Civic Engagement and the many youth that help manage the site for hosting and promoting the contest, providing technical support and contributing to the contest prizes. Puget SoundOff.org is an online space dedicated to providing youth with a forum for discussion, artistic expression, and action as a way to empower and encourage youth to have a strong voice.

Students from nine different schools in the Puget Sound region submitted videos. We applaud all of you for the effort and creativity you dedicated to this project! You can view all of the video submissions on Facing the Future’s Puget SoundOff group page. Thank you for making a difference in your community!
