Buy
a Farm Animal and Help A Family Become Self-Reliant!
Heifer International
www.heifer.org
Heifer International provides animals and training to people in need around the world so they can become self-reliant. With Heifer gifts, children receive nutritious milk or eggs; families earn income for school, health care and better housing; communities go beyond meeting immediate needs; and farmers learn sustainable, environmentally sound agricultural techniques. You can help Heifer by raising money to buy an animal for a family in need. The more you raise, the more animals you can buy, and the more families you can help become self reliant. You decide either what animal(s) you want to purchase for someone, and/or which country you want to support. Animals cost between $20 for rabbits, geese or chicks and $500 for a heifer. Figure out how many animals you would like to buy and then set your fundraising goals. You’ll receive a letter from Heifer thanking you for participating, a video about Heifer, and information on how the animal(s) you provide will help people improve their lives. When you’ve completed your project, you will get a certificate of accomplishment from Heifer International.
