Adopt a Stream with your class or school!
Adopt-a-Stream Foundation, Northwest Stream Center

Help to care for the nature and wildlife of your own watershed by adopting and caring for a local stream. Learn about the importance of sustaining our local, often overlooked natural ecosystems through this class commitment. The Northwest Stream Center will guide you through the 5-step process of adopting your stream, suggest texts and materials beneficial to the topic, and alert you to any related classes available through the “Streamkeeper Academy.” Check out their website for ideas and success stories about past stream adoptions.

For more information, please contact Tom Murdoch, Director, Adopt-a-Stream Foundation at (425) 316-8592 or by email.
