Join the fight against global poverty by partnering with CARE.

CARE is one of the world’s leading humanitarian organizations fighting poverty. For 57 years, CARE and our partners have helped create meaningful change in some of the world's poorest communities. Our integrated programs include emergency relief, community rehabilitation and long-term solutions to poverty.

You and your class can join CARE in their fight against poverty by becoming a part of the CARE Action Network.

• The CARE Action Network allows you to speak out about the need to eradicate poverty and its related issues and speak up about policies and programs that can help. CARE will provide you with an Advocacy Toolkit to help you take action right in your local community to help families in developing countries around the world. This Toolkit will provide you with information about CARE and teach you how to engage in a letter writing campaign to your Members of Congress to educate them about the need to improve the quality of life around the world. CARE will send you facts about global poverty and its connection to such issues as education, maternal and child health, and HIV/AIDS. In addition, you will receive e-mail alerts that you and your students can act upon by voicing your concerns and educate those empowered to make decisions that impact us all. Promote awareness about global poverty among students in your school and become an influential voice in this campaign for social equity. Use the contact information below to receive all the necessary tools and information to get you started!!
