Get Your Hands on Service to the Land!
Conservation Leadership Corps, the Student Conservation Association
Are you ready to make a commitment to the environment on a monthly basis? Want to make new friends? How about camping on the Pacific Coast ? You can do all this and more with the Conservation Leadership Corps. Participants work in crews of twelve students from the Seattle area doing conservation service projects one weekend a month January-May and then spend 15-35 days camping during the summer. The following year, crew members can return to help lead the new students. You'll directly improve the environment by restoring local parks with monthly service projects, go on fun trips to see salmon, eagles, ancient trees, sea creatures, beaches, and glaciers, and have opportunities to get free gear while you're at it! And the best part of all….you can do all this for free.
