Facing the Future recommends resources according to the following criteria:
- Impart global perspective
- Foster critical thinking
- Build understanding of sustainable systems
- Employ best teaching practices
- Meet education standards
- Provide solid, well-referenced information
- Focus on solutions
- Prepare students for informed civic participation
While not every resource meets all of these criteria, we believe each resource to be helpful for teaching and learning about global issues, sustainability, and positive solutions.
