Cascade Land Conservancy

Help conserve lands and build community by volunteering at a restoration work party!
www.cascadeland.org

Age group: Grades 3-12
Geographic area: King County

Cascade Land Conservancy needs your help to restore natural areas on their lands throughout King and Pierce Counties. Your class can help remove invasive vegetation, plant native species, maintain trails, and participate in many other activities that contribute to restoring the land. Cascade Land Conservancy's nature preserves are located in old growth forests, wetlands, prairies, urban parks, and along riverbanks. Staff and volunteer land stewards share environmental education on these ecosystems and the restoration practices used to make them healthier and more sustainable natural areas.
