http://www.350.org

Age group: Grades K-12
Geographic area: Worldwide

Join millions of people around the world that come together for the 350 International Day of Climate Action. Over 1,300 events are already planned in nearly 90 countries -- from the Taj Mahal, to the Great Barrier Reef, to your school, city, or town. Why 350? According to the latest science, 350 parts per million is the safe upper limit of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere.

The problem is, we're above that level, at 390 parts per million. 350 is a global target that we can work together to reach, no matter where we are or what language we speak. Join hundreds of schools around the world this October  organizing or joining a creative 350 action.

You can register your event online, connect with other schools, and find great action resources at 350. Together, we'll call for a global climate treaty that reduces C02 to 350 parts per million, and creates a sustainable future for us all.
