Adopt-a-Park Program

Adopt a local park!
http://your.kingcounty.gov/earthlegacy/volunteer.htm

Age group: All ages
Geographic area: King County

Our parks and green spaces need your help. Commit to volunteering at a nearby park at least four times in a year, and call it your own! By working to maintain our parks, you will preserve the local natural environment and allow citizens to enjoy the outdoors. Design a project that will enhance your local park and watch as it becomes healthy and beautiful as you work towards you goal. King County will recognize your efforts with a public sign advertising your adoption and upkeep of the area.
